We're making this music available for you to download for free as a tribute to Jim Disney, the drummer of kookaburra, who sadly passed away 15th May 2014. Jim Disney was a wonderful friend with a zest for life unbeaten by society's everyday demands, who lived with open arms and a cheeky smile. Whilst you can download and enjoy free of charge, we'd like you to donate the usual £5 download price to charity. Whatever charity you see fit - Cats Protection League ,Cancer Research or some other body you feel passionate about. We've put a couple of links in the 'Please donate to' section on the top right of this page to take you directly to a couple should you wish.

lyrics

His sweet voice calls my name
It no longer sounds the same
"Stage left - enter black and stardust"
He's cast himself as half-God.
I just stand still.

Down here, the air is hard to take
Short breaths on the welfare state in vain
I can bide my time while you twist the knife
'til I can stub this life right out

Jailer, call my name
I miss him all the same
"Stage right - books sit on a table"
He'd read them if he were able.
I just stand still.

Down here, the air is hard to take
Short breaths on the welfare state in vain
I can bide my time while you twist the knife
'til I can stub this life right out

Do you understand? Could you understand?
Dark skinned 15 year old virgins gather round to fuss him.
I just stand still.

Down here, the air is hard to take
Short breaths on the welfare state in vain
I can bide my time while you twist the knife
'til I can stub this life right out
