We're making this music available for you to download for free as a tribute to Jim Disney, the drummer of kookaburra, who sadly passed away 15th May 2014. Jim Disney was a wonderful friend with a zest for life unbeaten by society's everyday demands, who lived with open arms and a cheeky smile. lyrics
Pictures I should forget
In letters I should not have kept
Your beautiful new home
All shivers and creaking bones
Right up to it's aged bricks, it's sickness becomes it
The sudden need for air realising no one cares
This towns fever, it's bruised spine bent double
Worn down and breathless,
The weight of it's homeless
The tunnels of evil, the nervous people
Cannot stop to cry
Sorrow and signed goodbyes
The body tearing in half
The journeys home
Commuter, commuter stay calm
This towns fever, it's bruised spine bent double
Worn down and breathless,
The weight of it's homeless
The tunnels of evil, the nervous people
Cannot stop to cry
Help me try and find some sort of peace,
London cannot stop to cry, to speak
This towns fever, it's bruised spine bent double
Worn down and breathless,
It's piss stinking sickness
